2019 Risk Management Safety Webinar | Lockout/Tagout
Event Date: February 26, 2019
Lockout/tagout was OSHA’s 4th most cited standard in 2018. Injuries resulting from the failure to control hazardous energy during maintenance activities can be serious or fatal; they account for nearly 10% of the serious or fatal accidents in many industries. Proper lockout/tagout practices and procedures safeguard workers from the release of hazardous energy. Alternate control procedures (ACPs) are important when some energy is required to maintain safe work conditions while performing a service.
