Environmental Control Programs: A Wake-Up Call for the Food Industry | Webinar

Event Date: January 9, 2018

While the American food supply is among the safest in the world, the federal government estimates that there are still about 48 million cases of foodborne illness annually. Considering the growing number of recalls for Listeria Monocytogenes, E. coli, Salmonella and others, it should be a wake-up call to the food industry to tighten up their Environmental Control Programs.

Join Cottingham & Butler and Dr. David Acheson of The Acheson Group (TAG) to discuss the key issues around controlling environmental contamination of food and learn how to improve the overall effectiveness of your program.

This discussion includes:

  • What is a ready to eat food and what is not ready to eat?
  • What does a good environmental control program look like?
  • How do you use environmental monitoring effectively?
  • What do you need to do to be compliant with FSMA?
  • Does FDA require you to do food contact surface testing?
  • Should you be using whole genome sequencing?

For insight into these questions and more, join us for this free, educational webinar.
