Summit – Unloaded On Demand

On Thursday, August 26, 2021 we hosted our final Summit – Unloaded virtual session featuring a panel of our partners from KSM, Halvor Lines, TransLand, and R.E. Garrison. During this session the panel covered the “knowing doing gap” and what strategies trucking companies are using to increase profits and create a culture of productivity, no worries!

You can watch the full session on demand. Complete the form below and get instant access to the session recording.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • “It’s important to address culture. Too many managers and employees want to learn how in terms of different processes and techniques instead of understanding why in terms of philosophy and general guidance and correction.” Tim Almack, Katz, Sapper & Miller
  • “I think it’s good for everyone to take a step back and re-evaluate where they are. Have we met this goal? Are we trending in the right area? We measure a lot of that by deciding what goals work best for us, putting those down on paper, and tracking our overall progress through data integration.” Alex Hood, R.E. Garrison
  • “In every orientation I’m in with new drivers, I encourage them to ask why. I encourage all of our driver managers, and the rest of our team to answer the question why. It’s really a way to drive strong, effective communication and it’s only one of the many things we do to start building a foundation for our culture.” Mark Walker, TransLand
  • “It was really getting the people involved who’s voices might not have been heard before, who maybe had some great ideas for how to achieve greater success and better results, getting their voices heard and having them involved in the execution of our plans. The results were tremendous — we achieved what we set out to do… and created a culture of accountability and swift action.” Carl Svendse, Halvor Lines
