In 2022, the most recent year for which complete data was reported, there were 5,373 fatal crashes involving large trucks in the United States. Â As motor carriers and fleet owners, we need to find a methodology to determine how these crashes occurred and learn from this information to develop corrective actions that will prevent these from occurring in the future.
We’ll focus on developing a thorough and systematic approach to find the causes and contributing factors and creating a plan going forward to eliminate those causes from our operation.
